Owners Manual for Thing

Post by Bucko »

Anyone have a Thing Owners manual as a PDF file (or equivilent)? I searched the net, but only found several links to a "73 owners manual" link that is now DOA.

Any possibilites?

For the Thing owners manual and much more you should buy a copy of the RoMTOC Thing Data CD. It is $10 including shipping and is available through me or Mike Basso. It includes complete parts illustrations, parts interchange, BN-4 gas heater manual and troubleshooting guide. All of the original sales brochures including the ppg paint codes and color samples. 100s of Thing pictures including all of the rare Things such as pick ups and more. Great deal for $10 I recently searched high and low on the web for a Thing manual and it seems to no longer be posted anywhere. K-mann

Best 10 bucks I ever spent! Just the parts list alone is worth it.

(K-mann didn?t even have to pay me for this endorsement)

Thanks man. Nice to hear good feedback. I spent countless hours organizing the CD and renaming files so that it was easy to use. A bunch of what is on the CD is publicly available. But with the CD you have it all right on front of you in files that are orgainzed for easy access. I printed up a bunch of hard copies of the best parts of the CD after folks asked if I had such a thing. For some folks a paper copy that they can look at in their shop while working on their Thing is what they want. I still have some of those available also. More later, K-mann
