Need a muffler?

Most 914 exhaust stuff wont work on 411/412's but I have seen this muffler on a Bus and it works quite well, nice mellow sound, although I dont know what it might do to your FI system if you are running FI.

They also have some neat air box replacements, that might work on 74 fi?

That thing looks like a bratwurst after boiling it in beer

I got an Ernst T2 mufflah for the Nomad, but that 914 part does look interesting...

The basic Dansk 411/412 muffler for the 1.7/1.8...is heavy duty..decent quality...but really ugly welds. I would rather have an Ernst if I could find one. Their newer car mufflers seem to be of much higher quality. The 2.0 muffler....may have a different inlest spacing...and I thought Dave D said that the flanges were slightly different. Ray

Tat actually looks like an DErnst...or possibly Leistritz. A good deal for up to $150. The Ernst muffler flows about 15% better. Its excellent for a better than stock 1.7. It my be a bit restricted still for a 1.9...and definately a bit small for the 2.0. Ray
