I know, I would have to have a long chat about what has been done before I would "drive anywhere." I've had decent luck, though, buying stuff and driving it long distances. I bought my Golf in Toledo, OH for $300 two years ago. Drove it home to Detroit. Then, when I moved back to Missouri a short time later, all I did was change the oil, replace a rear wheel cylinder, and replace the rear brake shoes. I proceeded to drive it 1000 miles straight from Michigan to Missouri.

, but I've already got enough cars that are "projects", plus, there is a wagon I could get that's more complete about 1 mile from my parents' house just begging me to retrieve it...
