Tow Bar

Post by Jersey Thing »

Greetings All -

Here is a quickie question that I am sure someone on the east coast can answer. I am in the North east. Where do i find the best price w/ shipping on a tow bar for a 181 Thing/standard beetle & Super Beetle.

Is there a standard for both or do have to purchase 2?

Thanks

same bar for bugs, ghias, things etc... go to your local VW Club or shop.. you won't have to pay shipping........ there's a bunch of guys in Baltimore who'd love to sell you one.

Support your local Thing specific shop. Mike Basso has them at www.thingsunlimited.net for $55. He's in NY.

We've towed with a standard bug bar.... it's higher... not bigger.

I tow my 73 Thing with a Beetle bar. No problems at all.
