The sound you would be hearing right now if you had E-Audio would be a constant, low, sniveling whine, the sound of 412 envy

The engine lid is even intact!
Lane
73 VW 412 (the Nomad, dropped valve seat land now, argh!)
67 MGB (Abingdon's Finest)
76 Plymouth Duster /6 (runs like a top)
99 New Beetle 2.0 (never gives any trouble)
04 Golf TDI (45 MPG)
09 JSW (love it, love it, love it!)

Ah yes, that car is gorgeous...fills me with pangs of lust, and a whole host of other feelings ranging from anger, jealousy, to despondency... I really like how those wheels look on it. They are very appropriate for the style, color and era of the car. I've had my eye on a few sets on ebay before, but never quite went through with bidding to win. They look kind of like the "poor man's" version what I believe are Halibrands, like came on some Panteras, other exotics, etc... Notice that it looks to me like it has most, if not all the exterior accessories available, mudflaps, bumper guards, and those VW accessory chrome add on trim things on the decklid and side vents (I have a NOS set of each 8), oh and on a side note, I just saw a bug from the same era that had those today too!) With a little cleaning and tidying, interior on my wrecked '74 is probably almost that nice. I dream for the whole car to be that nice someday...

I've been here a little, and there a little  .

I've been committing a lot of time lately to some household items that need attention. I'm also trying to push my business that I do on the side so I can get out from under the "man" . Add to that the fact that I'm trying to have my squareback on the road by Bug Out, and finish my wifes BelAir and there isn't much time left for surfing..., except at work :P . I check in almost every day, but mostly just lurking. Since I havn't worked on mine in a while, I feel out of the loop.

That is real nice, there was one that looked just like that one here in vancouver that was for sale some time ago, it also was gold and in great condition, I think it was advertised on type4.org . last time I saw it was about 6 months ago. I think the one I am talking about was part of an estate sale or something, sure would be a nice score though. but I think the one at samba is a little pricey.
