I haven't seen the Think Shop mirrors, so I can't comment on those, but I have some related info to share. Recently on eBay I purchased some made-in-Mexico reproduticton bus mirrors and some extensions from Indonesia to convert the bus mirrors to Thing mirrors. The finish of the Mexican mirrors was poor. There was no gasket around the glass. It was just glued onto the steel backing. The ball swivel where the mirror attaches to the stem was extremely stiff at first, and now too loose after only being adjusted a few times.

And the worst part: the threads for the mirrors and extentsions are different. The extensions won't work for these mirrors. Which threads are wrong, the mirrors' or the extensions', I cannot say. Although I will say that the quality of the extensions is good.

My advice: buy the mirrors with the extensions already attached, or at least by both from the same vendor, so you have recourse if there is a problem.
