bought a rear sway bar advertised to fit irs rear ends, including a thing. As you know the thing has extra steel welded to the torsion tubes. This prevents the sway bar inner brackets and urethane bushing from being installed...anyone have a solution?.....get my money back.....?......buy some other bushing and bracket set up?
thanks,

Four wheel stability. I am running a 86 Turbo 944 Porsche 944 rear stabilizer on my Thing road car. To use the sway bar you bought you will need to buy longer clamps of the same type that came with your Sway a way rear bar. Then they will go around the larger rear torsion bar of the Thing. Hold the sway bar with bushing in place and mesure the circumferance. Then find a good supply house that sells the same type heavy duty clamp of the correct circumference. If you have no luck go online adn search whistler Bearing in Colorado Springs thye carry the correct clamp as a special order item. They go for $7 each there. Hope this helps. K-mann
