Something wrong with my bug!?

Post by volksnewbie »

Well it just started doing this the past few days I have an 1835 with dual kadrons and all and Ill be driving it and then its almost like the engine starts stuttering like its not getting enough gas or enough spark , It kind of jumps on and off? I don't know what it could be . I actually ended up on the side of the road twice . Weird thing is when i take the distributor cap off and then just put it back on it seems to run fine for around 10 minutes and then it will start up again?! So Im pretty stumped about it , and i need to fix it by this weekend

Check for vacuum leaks, and see if your ignition coil is getting too hot to touch.
