steering wheel options

What are you guys using for non stock steering wheels-looking for more leg clearance for a taller driver but want to retain the stock "black" look. Thanks.

A word of caution: when I bought my Thing it had a tiny 12" steering wheel which made the steering very effortful. I have since changed to a 14" which has made the car much more driveable. (I think the stock wheel is 15".) While not long of leg, I'm rather stocky (read prodigious gut,) and I find the 14" wheel gives me plenty of room. My point is that it's possible to go too small.

Give Arda at German Motor Works a call - I'm sure she could give you a suggestion or two.
