Excellent find Albert - where is it? I have a passable understanding of German from Afrikaans being my second language - a mix of Dutch and German. My father also impressed upon me the importance of knowing the German names for bits on VW's. I never thought I would use that knowledge, ever!!

BTW, do you know if there is a HP limit in Germany for a 412 in stock condition (especially how much power can you put in a 412 without changing the brakes)?

Regards,

Louis

I have no idea to be honest. I am what they call a "Light Sider" on the (excellent) Type 3 list, I don't get into modifications at all. Stock original, that's my kind of car.

You can simply get that info from your local TUV. Thats how I did it for my 68 bug while living in frankfurt in the 90s. You give thm the KFZ Brief and from that info they give you the proper limitations for that vehicle. At least then, they did.

It is Norwegian. Interesting listing of original parts, though. We need to find someone to translate the descriptions from Norwegian into English, French or German.
