Ring minor damage (usable ?)

Hello!

I tear donw a "AT" gearbox and as I was put the ring/diff unit in my bench
One teeth of the ring touch a wire with it has 12V power and it was burned/damaged in the very end.Otherwise this ring is excellent but I am now confused if I can use the ring ??
Please take a look and let me know if it is still usable ???

It will be fine. Take your dremel tool and smooth the rough surface. Then take sandpaper and polish it.

I'd start with 220 grit after the stone on the dremel tool. Then work your way up to 320, 400, then 600.
