My new(to me) Dragbug

I went to the auction at Buggy World a few weeks ago,and bought Bob's racecar.It's going to need some work,but it was still a great deal.It may take me a month or so before it sees the track.Wish me luck.

Yep,It came with a 1914,IDA's,ARPM Comp eliminaters,1-3/4" header,Vertex Magneto.I tore it down,and found a rod bearing starting to go away,and the heads are badly in need of a valvejob.It's got a built,gusseted trans that's been raised 3".I was told it was running 12.20's about 5 years ago.It's also has lexan windows,and fiberglass doors.I can't wait to get it on the track.I'm going to bring it down to Moroso to have the tech inspector go over it and make whatever changes it will need.Paul

I scored it at an auction for $4,400.00.I thought it was a pretty good deal.While the motor is apart I think I'm going to pull the trans and have it gone through to make sure all is well,and check out what it has for gearing.I might be giving Lester a call for that.I'm sure it will be a few months before I get it to the track.
