Holiday Thing Offerings

Has anyone received any Thing related holiday gifts. My wife and kids have a greed to buy me a car cover for one of my Things... I have been doing research because this is one of those gifts that you have to go out and get for yourself. It does not come neatly wrapped, ready to be opened. Anyone out there have advise about which car cover to buy. I know the Thing Shop sells "custom fit" Thing car covers.. I have found other companies that sell covers that are made of the same material and same construction techniques as the $250 Thing Shop cover for $150. The deal is though that this other cover is made to fit cars like a Toyota RAV4 or a Jeep Wagoneer. Has anyone bought such a cover for their Thing? If so how do they fit. I need a cover that is designed to be left outdoors in various weather conditions. I suspect that a cover made for a small SUV would fit a Thing just fine.. Also has anyone else gotten any Thing related gifts? Thanks.. More later, K-mann

No, but I WISH I had gotten something for my Thing. You know, a guy can hint around for weeks about a little wire-fed MIG welder, but I guess he actually has to go out a get it himself.
