Pressure Sensor different in 1973 and 1974?

Post by Kirk Knighton »

I am wondering if all this talk about pressure sensors (MPS) is for the earlier electronic injection system. I have that in my '71 411, but in my '74 412 wagon I have the AFC system and I don't think it has the same MPS - or if it has one at all, for that matter. I know the AFC system has far fewer parts and so is less of a headache - in theory at least!

Right, the '74 wagons and 4 door sedans in the U.S. came with L-Jet, which is controlled differently. The 2 dr. sedan came with D-Jet still in '74, and I believe they should be the same as '73.
