I,ve just painted a spare pair of headlight surrounds to match the colour of the car and I think its an improvement, makes the whole front of the car different What do you all think?

It looks good- black headlight surrounds on other colors does look too much like "raccoon" eyes. Color matched to the body looks especially good with the non-metallics, in my opinion. Remember that orange 412 wagon with the 911 motor from Norway? Then there is that 412 wagon wagon I've seen pictures of from Europe that is bright blue w/everything painted to match, including the Fuchs wheel centers. Looks awesome.

You guys are making me think about painting my "eye patches" body color (Marathon Blue metallic) instead of the more silver color they are now, when I do the repaint. They do stand out a bit as it is...
