Yes, you can find discussions of that by searching this site with keywords "swivel" "feet" "adjusters" "porsche"

edit: some typing mistakes

I'm sure the 914 guys have a good setup for that stuff! Sounds like a good improvement probably over stock! That would be a good stick post for all the changes from stock that make a better performer and life of motor! Have to grab some of the 914 guys setup improvements! bill
I know Ray has lots of changes and improvements!!

The swivel feet....or Porsche swivel feet as they are more commonly called are an excellent mod. They are also available at Jakes store. Be sure you get the original Porsche article....as there is a difference. Ray

The only ones that are worthwhile quality are the genuine Porsche parts. The non-porsche swivel feet models are decent, but many of them suffer from poor metalurgy (ball snapping off) or poor tolerance (not enough swivel and too much slack). The type that uses an actual ball with a flat spot ground on the face of the ball....are generally beutifully made...but are absolute junk because there is not enough range to teh ball movement. It ALWAYS ends up cracking the edge of the cup and causing damage to othere things. Get the Porsche ones. They are worth the money. That is what Jake sells.

These parts are not "cones" or caps. They "should" have flat....but wide...ends. Valve adjustment is the same as normal with them. Ray

The cone type ones are ones are what we call "lash caps". They are to cover and correct the damage that commonly comes to stainless steel valves from running hardened adjuster screws. It wears a dent in teh end of the valves. They are a quick fix to extend lif of the valve. Some people install them on new valves if they do not use hardened stems and tips.
If you use the flat bottomed Porshe style swivel screws, you can use them as well on new non-hardened stainless valve because teh greater surface area keeps from eroding the valve stem tip. Ray
