How Tall Is It?

Can anyone tell me what the height in inches is of a stock 1973 thing tire, I am needing the information to calculate desired transmission gear ratios. Thanks.

The Thing came from the factory with a set of 185-70/14 tires on 5 x 14" rims as original equipment.

185mm x .70 = 129.5mm /25.4(mm per inch) = 5.098" x 2 = 10.2" + 14 " = 24.2" stock tire height.

I created an excel spredsheet that does it also. It is included on the RoMTOC Thing Data CD and I also am willing to email it to anyone who pmails me and ask for it to be sent to them. K-mann
