seal p/n 113 311 113 D

Post by Class 11 streeter »

Anyone know what this is for?

It's from a box of 411 stuff I got off a fellow some time back. The seal itself is about as big around as an old US dollar coin and about 3/4" tall, and has a spring like a crank pulley seal.

Just curious! :D

Thanks Glenn, you are da man!

Is it 411 specific, or does it go on the T1 style trans?

I don't believe I've ever seen a "D" revision input shaft seal (but it's been years since I worked in the trade). The number I'm familiar with is the 113 311 113A, which fits many applications...presumably so does the "D"

I'll have to pull up the type (004) gear box mainshaft seal number. On a type four 004 four speed, it is specific. It has a different shaft size than types 1-3.

Oh...here it is. 004-311-491A. A standard cross match seal available is CR-6620. The diemensions are 17x30x7mm Ray
