The bolts I bought to attach a hard top to the car. Includng shipping it ended up costing $1 per bolt. They are nice quality. I suspect the Thing hardware kit would be a good idea for a resto project. It is around $93 usd plus shipping. It is listed as 49 UK pounds. The fender bolts and washers would be nice to avoid the problems of rusted in place fender bolts. Many of us have spent countless hours drilling out and retapping broken fender bolts.... I have collected up a huge pile of original fender bolts but bought stainless washers for my fender resto on my two Things. If I had found this guy I would have just bought his kit. I paid about $.10 per washer at Home Depot. Each Thing takes 32 washer to do the four fenders. That comes to about $4 just for washers..
I installed my hardtop yesterday using the ss bolts. They use a 5 mm allen tool to install. The bolts worked very nicely..

We may post a blog on the web-site covering our Rover P4 engine re-build when time allows. It's been a tricky one.!
