411/412 front brake question

Post by volkswagen50 »

Does anyone know if the early 411/412 front brakes fit the early Super beetle? I can't use the Euro discs because of the rules, but I mightbe able to swap across the whole VW line soon as long as I don't machine any parts. So, will the disc and caliper with bracket fit the Super Beetle? Thanks, Greg

A picture or two of the front suspension of one of these would help! Greg

I need more of a closeup of the front spindle, from the back,or underneath. The drawing is too small, but thanks. I was all over your site last night and all the links as well. Greg

It´s easiest to try them, if you happen find the parts somewhere.
As far as I know, the bolt pattern is different in the caliper, which makes this issue more complicated.

The bearings in the hub are the same, but I don´t know about the distance between them.

Also how the disc lines up with the caliper is one dilemma.
