Changing the brake master cylinder

Post by raykinsella »

Well my 412 has developed a leaky master cylinder. In the past I always had it replaced by a small shop, but the shop is now gone and I'm thinking I may have to try to do the job myself. I have a couple of NOS cylinders on hand. Is it a real hard job? Any tips are appreciated -thanks!

Yep...get a sheet of plastic to cover all of the floor on the drivers side. Its advisable to drain the system ascompletely as possible before starting. Ray
