Hi Everybody
This is my first post on this site and i think it's great i must say there is a lot of info on here.Anyway i need some help with fitting a turbo system to my stock 1600 twin port engine(which is brand new),i am not looking for a very quick bus just something that pulls a bit better for everyday driving.
Now i know you can buy turbo kits but i was looking for a bit of a diy kit.I have access to a workshop and looking to save a bit of money.
First question what sort off size turbo would you go for i have been looking at a garret t2 turbo or gt15.But again not sure what to go for.Also would i need to fit an external oil cooler with filter to run a set up like this.
I have ordered the turbomaniacs book today to get some more info.
Any input at all would be of great help as i have never tried anything like this before.

Welcome to the STF there is a ton of good information available here.
If you are intersted in turbo stuff you might want to jump to the "forced induction forum" It is specificaly designed to anwser the types of questions you posted.
This forum is generaly for information about busses in there stock form.
