Tonneau cover-type thing?

I discussed this with Larry Dustman last year. At the time, he seemed to be interested, but the project was never finished.
I had a plan for a cover to be used only when the car was stationary; to avoid putting the top up to park outside overnight,
The cover had a sewn in pocket for the (folded) windshield and velcro straps for the door handles.

As I think about it, I think the ideal for me would be a tonneau cover on the rear with a small convertible top for the front seats that could be quickly raised and lowered and would integrate with the front side curtains.
I have absolutely no idea how this could work, however.
