need help with my westy
im trying to put my motor from my 71 bug into my 73 westy will it work an if so what do i need to do

I agree that the best route would be to rebuild the T4 motor due to the extra weight of the Westi interior. Passenger busses are okay with a T1 since they are lighter.
There are a couple guys here pushing busses with T1 power that were originally T4ed. So yes it can be done.
What is the problem with the T4?

it wont turn over i tryed it by hand an it is stuck in place an have ever rebilt one befor

What is the history of your T4? If these engines sit for a while the carbon on the heads and pistons will collect in the lower side of the cylinder and prevent the engine from turning. There are of course a lot of more serious reasons that an engine will not turn over, but don't abandon your T4 until you are sure it can not be easily fixed.
