I ended up doing it a bit different after trying just a restrictor
(Nothing new here...)
I left the PCV as-is and put the restrictor upstream, and the vacuum source is the small load proportional vacuum post air meter.
That particular PCV valve works MUCH better than any of the US ones I tried, very light opening, very fast response, almost like a reed valve.
(Admittely my intake setup is very non-factory unless you have CIS, close to Ljet though)
Reason I changed it was the tiny restrictor to manifold vacuum setup produced/allowed the least flow when it was needed most, at WOT.
(I'm running a 6mm restrictor ATM in the higher flow setup)

zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

Nice method pile! That is especially doable with CIS. No MPS to get messed with wth any pulse issues.
Yep....the only issue with a fixed orifice in D-jet is at WOT. But....on the plus side, the 3-4mm fixed orifice actually flows more than the stock PCV valve at WOT. The design was that poor on the original PCV unit.
Above 3500 rpm, it really could use an orifice double the size (6mm).
Its just that the 3mm is really the optimum size fixed orifice on D-jet to get really good idle adjustment and still be able get the fuel mixture adjusted at the MPS.
If I can get the extra orifice size to drop in, in a location that will not screw with te MPS....it will be cool. Ray
