Found VW Thing Accessory steering wheel and other goodies.
I've seen the old VW brochures of the accessories they had. I found this old 73 thing in the basement of an old building. It was in a body off condition. Apparently the old owner of the building was going to do a full resto, but he recently passed. All the parts for the car were there, and among them was this chrome steering wheel that looks exactly like the one in the brochure, with the Wolfsburg castle horn button and all. Also, were the chrome wheels and caps that look like the ones featured in the pictures as well. I was able to accquire all this stuff on the "if you can move it, you can have it" price. Any idea if these items have any value as collectibles?

That wasn't the kind I was thinking of. The guy did have another wheel that was different.
