Budget Homemade Interior

Post by buzzboy »

When I got this thing at first I though, "function over form." Then I found a bolt of corduroy fabric my mom had bought that matched the paint, kinda, and she didn't want because it had too many wrinkles. Over a period of 2 months(including vacation time though) I slowly put the interior together with help from my mom and friends. Nothing too special but it was free and it looks way better than the old ripped vinyl. Also, where ever you see old faded orange will be repainted factory orange.

Nice job! Nothing wrong with doing it on a budget and it looks like you nailed it!

I had some time on my hands over this spring break. Along with some 3/4" mdf. 11hrs later and this is the end result. I took apart my old sony house speakers to get the 2" and the 5 3/4" and I traded my old 8" Kicker Bass for two 12" Kenwood Whirlwinds.

This is sweet, I'm doing a zero cash Emory baja tribute and I've been needing some lo-budget interior ideas. Excellent job, I hope I can pull it off as well

Nice work! If I'm not mistaken, full interior sets for a bug from the 2 big interior suppliers now exceeds $1000, uninstalled!
