hydro turbo camshafts?

Post by 1303wasserbug »

is there a camshaft that would work with a 1.9 wasser with the standard hydro lifters with 15psi of turbo? was gonna re use my 2.1 dj camshaft but looks a bit unhealthy :( how about an engle 100 or similar?

the stock cams are ok to turbo you can add 1.25 or 1.4 rockers
the engle cam wont work with hydros, the ramp rates are too fast(ive tried them :( )
cb has some.
good luck

Hi mate,

You might aswell swap to solid lifters when you split the case. You can have the lifter bores bushed with bronze sleeves. That way you can run type1 lightweight lifters in any size, and pick any cam you like.

cheers,
