Empi steering wheel
does anyone know if a Empi (VDM Petri) steering wheel fits on a 411? (not the GT wheel)

Ray,
As far as I can see on pictures, this wheel is the same depth as the GT wheel (to assemble). So why should the turn signal wheel be cancelled?
Sorry, but I only can tell from the pictures I saw, don't know for sure.
I'll call someone this evening who has the GT wheel in his 1970 411 and ask him if it fits direct or something has to be changed.
The seller told me that a standard 411 wheel fits on a '67 bug, and this wheel fits on that bug... No hard feelings yet, but he wants to sell... just try to figure out before buying...

On the stock steering wheel the depth of the lower end of the steering wheel skirt is important. In fact on all acvw after 1970 it is. There is a little "fin" that sticks out that cancels your turn signal after you make the turn. For some its not important. On earlier type 3's and someearly 411's teh blinker lever system was differnt than on later vehicles. Ray
