That...is very nice to know. If they were that common, they may be on shelves in lots of places.

One thing to remember about certain bearings...especially those that were either automotive specialty...or made a long time ago and have few new applications......if they are made in Europe, bearings like that are usually only made in one month of the year. They are made suring August during the vacation season to keep the factories from being totally idle.
The rear wheel bearings of the 411/412 are made like this....have been for a long time. The need is so few and far between that the big bearing dealers generally tell me they are back ordered until the end of August if they are out of stock. Ray
