E-way sale on 1.7 domed pistons

These are AA manufactured 90mm stock domes. Havn't seen many domed pistons around. it isitem # 180257922401.
Expires around 5:00 eastern. Buy it now of $189. Not bad. Don't know about quality. Ray

I'm strongly considering bidding on these, but I have no experience with AA Performance P&C sets...they any good?

Hi there Ray, Uber, Albert, Deathbus and all you 412 nuts. Been gone doing work stuff and like that for almost a year, but I'm getting some free time to do the computer, so here I am. Nordhoff's Nomad has been on the road for a year with no trouble, it has about 18Kmi more on the clock, and the A/C is still working great (after rebuilding the ENTIRE hose set last year!). Still needs a paint job though.

Glad to see you back! There has been a lot of talk about AA products. There were/are some issues...especially with cylinders ...but I think the concensus is that as long as you know about it...a lot can be corrected, especially for the price. They are Chinese.

But....if you go to their site, the going rate for oversized 90mm domes is roughly twice what the e-way price is.

For oversized 90's....it may be worth collecting an extra set. Ray

A typical problem with AA pistons seems to be compression height. Don't have any info on there domed 1700 pistoms, but this would be something to check before purchase and use. No use putting domed pistons in if the compression height is .060" short.
