Hi all,
I have just had my carbs balanced and re-jetted, base on results gained from a rolling road.
After balancing my carbs, sorting out the idle, we put the van on the rolling road. For it's first run it made
70hp at 3,000 rpm
110hp at 5,500 rpm
After changing the jets, it made
120hp ar 5,500 rpm
This is all at the rear wheels, so at the flywheel is must be between 140-150hp! It should make even more with a proper exhaust , rather than the J pipes, bugpack merge and a turbo muffler it has at the moment.
This was at Redline in Iver, Berks, UK.
I'm well chuffed

Hi Joe,
Your shroud is still looking good and attracts lots of attention onver here in Europe.
I have now fitted an external oil cooler and the liter of extra oil seems to have made a big difference, my oil pressure doesn't ever get any higer than 95 degrees.
During the dyno run it didn't get about 90 degress. I also ahve a fan fitted which kicks in at 90 degrees and it didn't during the dyno runs.

Regarding oil temps:
You do know that 90-95 Deg.C. is to low?
You need a 100+ to boil of any condensated water.
J.
------------------
-56 T1 hopefully soon with a F.I. T4 (AN engine)
