Could debris in the cooling fan prevent hand turning engine?

Better replace it then!!

I've undone the three bolts that seem to hold it on but it won't shift. Are there any other nuts and bolts holding it on or is it a tight fit that just needs a good wiggle to remove it?

She is now running very well with a replacement fan fitted and all the oil leaks fixed.

I have had the engine compression tested and all cylinders were nice and even and in good shape, so a huge sigh of relief was breathed.

Just NEED to sort the Eberspacer out as I was scrapping ice from the inside of the window this morning :roll:
