Thought I would say Hello (lotsa pics)

Post by Runamuck Bus »

I posted a 'picture of the month' and was directed to the type 2 forum; I think I found the right place. Anyhow...
Bought a CA '72 in WV about year and a half ago and brought it to PA,

So I emptied and cleaned, and powerwashed

I'm still months away from being on the road. She (Grace) runs, I'm putting the interior back together (I need room in the house!) and I have a good number of jobs to keep me busy all winter. More later!

Good example of an early 72 with the mismatched bumpers. Which is totally cool!

For some reason 72s are prone to rust, so keep her clean and protected on the bottom and she should live a long life.

Please keep us posted on your progress and if you have questions you know we are here here for you!

Also there are a number of Full Moon Bus Club campouts in your area so check in on thier webpage for VW Bus activities.

You gotta love that road salt above the mason dixon line, but at least they seem to have had it undercoated somewhere which was great.

Just love the rust and front vent cover very orginal. It looks like you have quite a large task ahead of you....You should try and find a good body cheap then exchang insides. I sure you have lots of money and time wheather you do it your self or have someone else do it.

I am Praying for you
