Greetings everyone! I'm sorry for using this forum to ask for a part, but I am in need of a pair of GOOD rubber strut covers. I am speaking of the accordian-like covers on the front struts of our type IVs. Can anyone PLEASE help me?!

Not really....at least not with the stock ones. The problem with the stock boots has to do with teh bump stop mounting for them and their enormous diameter. My last set of stock diameter ones...I used very flexible neoprene accordian hose made of Neoprne with a thin wire support. Liek what you would use for industrial laundry diriers. They worked superbly...except for the electric blue color
.
I have since gone to after market bump stops...which work perfectly and a generic boot from a local parts store..which also works perfectly. You can get rid of the factory bump stop...just leave the steel bushing in place on the strut shaft. Ray
