Volkswagen 411 L vs Porsche 914

Hi, i was read about volkswagen 411 and some people says that it have some parts that are the same from Porsche 914, that´s true? Mine have double carburator and Mc Pherson suspention.

Yes, there's a little bit simulair... the engine for example :shock:

The Porsche 914 was a project of VW and Porsche. In Europe they were sold as VW-Porsche 914 (nicknamed VoPo), but because of the name VW it wasn't exclusive enough, in America they were solled als Porsches and that turned out better.

(Porsche made that mistake later again with the Porsche 924 with an Audi engine... :oops: )

Yes, the engine...down to tha last part # on 1.7's, there are no shared parts on the suspension except for the front brakes...and only a vague similarity between the suspension types. Ray
