DH wasser case and crank

Post by 66 deluxe »

I have just bought my first wasser engine, and want to make an oxyboxer, my plans are to either use the 101.6 P&C setup with undrilled new heads or convert to type 1 spacing and heads. My main question is what advantages does the DH case/crank have over earlier 1.9 case and the later 2.1 cases/cranks. Ideally this conversion will be for the drag strip and my 2270 type 4 for the circuit.

Damo.

Hmm, actually the DH it will be an early case with bug style bearings.
Crank is also the easily obtain 69mm.
All 1986+ engines 2.1 & 1.9 have the new crancase with 3 piece thrust bearing and chevy style bearings.2.1s also come with the 76mm crank...

good luck
