That's very relieving to hear, could you point on the engine-picture where the ground connector should be? The ground connectors are for the injectors, right? I found them on the electrical table and circled them - if I have understood the table correct?
Haz,
you are right.
The connector is "star formed" and, if memory serves, bolted close the center line of the case nerby the intake plenum not far from the red ring in your picture, not easy to see...if its there...

That helps alot to get it started properly, except one other issue: Underneath the front of the 411, there is a sort of relay or something - that's connected to the fuel pump, a hose on each side - I think it's shot because once the fuel pump (after a while....) got electricity to it so that it started pumping - I think the pressure became to much for it so it started leaking badly, and even more when trying to start the engine. Any smart tricks to fix this part? I'm thinking it's not so easy to buy it as a NOS spare part. The problem might be the hoses are shot also, I didn't look at this problem at all since we saw it first when closing down for the night..
I think it's called "fuel pressure regulator" and has one hose coming from the front and back-side of it. Can it be fixed or do I need a new one? Where to buy?

If its at the front it should be the "muffler" for the fuel pipe system (the pressure regulator is in the engine compartment). Should not cause any more problems then sound if removed and by passed.
If memory serves it is about 6cm in dia and 2cm thick, pipe in on one side and out on the other. No electrical connections since all it does is to reduce the noise from the pulses in the fuel line caused by the fuel pump.
