Lowering a baywindow~wheel info

Post by 73 hightop »

hi all, i'm looking to lower my 73 camper and found these wheels for pretty cheap, here are the specs:MSR 17"s~Bolt Pattern 5-115, offset 45mm.
how can i make these fit, i plan on tubbing the front (going pretty low) 5" narrowed beam/dropped spindles and using horse shoe plates in the back. what are some of the hurdles i will run into?Newby here, thanks.

Hummm...

I have just moved up the bay ladder from a '70 to a '73... I'll have to see about the lug spacing. I'm toying with the idea myself of wheel upgrading. I'll be back with you.

Oh yea, got any pics of your beast?
