One of the occations this year when I loved to drive my 412; at my sons examination ball.
Every student is supposed to arrive in a special car such as a 50's USA car, Porsche or a cab, but you can find almost anything among the 2-300 cars, even T-fords.
I can certify that my 412 was the only type IV there but not the least appriciated car...oh how we long away from the cold and snow and back to the summer and the 412 trips...

Yes, his gf was impressed to, she sat in the front seat due to her hairstyle - as we all know no car (excep a cab) can hold a more voluminous hairstyle than a 411/412!

Your car looks just like my old 412. Loved that car. Made quite a number of 2200 mile round trip drives in it at the drop of a hat to see my girlfirend at the time. Nice pics! Ray

Where did those wheels come from, Lars? They look nice on a T4. I've got Baja Champion wheels from a 70's Beetle on mine, they're nice but narrow.

Bought the wheels in the '70s, we always called them "Empi's" but Im unsure if they are real Empi made, can anyone tell?

Those are "Sprint Star" wheels. They are fairly easy to find and I think they are making replicas now.

Thanks everyone! Yes I love my car too, the best is that it is all original, paint, engine, the black velvet perfect clothing etc, nothing (almost) has ever been touched or fiddeled with exept me fixing the brakes and alternator.
Longing to drive her!!

I drove my 74 L-Jet wagon everyday for almost 2 years. Nov. 2008 I took it off the road as it had issues and my squareback was just coming off of 'injured reserve'. well, the 412 is almost ready to go back to daily driver/commuter for that 48 mile round trip.

Hey, that's good news! Another T4 back on the road after a temporary absence!
2 years off the road, it shouldn't need as much work as mine when I first got it after 8 years in a shed (and rats using the engine bay as a latrine/camp ).
