I've been using this site for help on my old '63 bug for a long time without ever registering. This site has been VERY HELPFULL! But the bugs wreaked and gone. The VeeDub community has been nothing but great to me, so I wanted another. I really wanted a camper. So I just got an '83 vanagon, and just found out it's a "wasser", so now nobody knows me. Nothing but the cold shoulder is there a place of refuge, a place to share info on the "Brick" vans? A watercooled forum would help out sooo much. How hard is it to convert to air cooled? I'm getting used to no respect.

Out of the water and into the air, the evaluation of the waterboxer case. I would like to see more input on this conversion. My shop did all the machine work on Jeff Rogers BADBUG.com 2.1 case. From line boring to offset case inserts to bronze lifer bushings to welding the bottom of the case to add a 4qt. sump. and much more. Jeff has ran 9.35 At 145 1/4 .This case is a great 101.6-103mm bore 69 to 88 stroke case we use AutoCraft 910 heads. Thanks Rocky Pocket Rocket rjenning@hscis.net
