Not that I mind some touching but I deleted some of them. Leaves more room for the actual work info 8)

Made some torsion eliminators today and added some bracing. I need some opinions on adding support

Wish I was more help. Look at CWB's and Busks builds.

Are you going to add a double shear on the eliminator?

For better strength, you should run that yellow tape line to the intersection of the straight and curved bars of the engine cage.

Im not getting what youre throwing buddy I really suck at understanding the names of different tubes

Tiko, what he is saying is that the lower diagonal tube (tape line) needs to go farther to the rear (abaft) to support the engine's weight and, depending on where you locate the radiator. it too plus the coolant line run can affect the length of the lower and diagonal tubes. You will also need to support the transaxle/engine join (upper or lower mounting) besides the front transaxle mount.

The exhaust header must be cleared by the tubes as well as the motor mounts must be added before you can locate that tube to ensure that there is not any interference and proper clearances (hard to determine in 2D pictures). If this was a carbureted engine the angle of the carb mount would have to be taken into consideration but with injection that is less of an issue.

If you haven't done it for a while look, at CWB's engine and transaxle mounting on his Baja http://www.shoptalkforums.com/viewtopic ... 8&t=129794 and maybe look at/for a couple of the other water pumper builds viewtopic.php?f=28&t=136758 A little time spend now reading and looking at pictures can save time and expense later on.

Remember, building a project/toy is like making love to a lady... upfront planning, finesse, proper parts, gentleness and the ability to change directions if something doesn't work all go a long way towards a successful project. Plan (take pictures and post for input if you want... a good idea especially early on), cut to length, notch, tack then be objective on your design before you hard weld. I think CWB went a long time before he finished welded a lot of things. So have several others in their builds.

What a great page number to end it on. Well guys the motor trans and everything with it is gone. Thank u mark I hope it all works well. The shocks are gone along with other minor things. I still have the chassis hopefully I get a decent offer on that if not ill try and do a little more on it just to make sure it sells. Other than that I give up. No time is my biggest problem. I really appreciate all the help and advice shoptalk was good to me. I hardly come on here anymore. Good luck to everyone have fun and when youre out in the desert rev it up for me. Peace out guys thanks again
