My setup is totally hidden. Deck lid closes normally and no drainback problems.

Moocho mods there Chuck.... Sectioned sump (?), TB and aircleaner under the car (brave).... What else.... Injectors in the plenums.... Some very novel ideas there.... Tell us more?.... You have build up thread anywhere?

Sorry I don't have any build up pics. I didn't have a decent camera at the time. A few guys have asked me for pics of my setup but the camera I had was junk. I just got a new one so now I posted up some pics. I think I am the only one to put my turbo where it is located and not hack the car to pieces. The car can be put back to stock in no time if needed.
Yea I added an inch to the sump so it holds 6 quarts now. It is nice to be able to pull to 8000 RPM and still reuse my rod bearings if I need to when I rebuild the engine. It took me many wasted rod bearings to figure out my oiling problems.
The injectors in the throttlebody was a bit dificult to do but worked out great. Having them further away from the valve helps to cool the intake charge. They do the same thing on motorcyles with primary injectors close to the intake valve and secondary injectors place further away.
What is the problem with having the air cleaner under the car? It doesn't get very dirty where it is located.

There are a few VW's here Oz that have the turbo mounted there abouts, but they all also have an air-water intercooler mounted there.... A couple also have the aircleaner down there too, but most have reported that they get a little dirty down there and they can be a pain to get to.... That's why many have chopped out part of the parcel tray and fitted the components higher. Your turbo is a little lower than theirs though.... Guess its as high as can be without chopping the car.... I'm liking the install Chuck and the sectioning of the sump is a novel idea, but why not just go with a wider sump?....

That is a wide sump already. It only held 3.5 quarts prior to my welding. I need at least a 5 quart sump or run the risk of hurting the bearings.
Glad to see you like it.
Thanks.

What a beautifull setup Mario. Very nice! Will the exhaust fit behind the rear apron?

Thanks! Yes everything fits, and the exhaust comes out the pee shooter hole. I don't think I have any pics of the apron and the decklid on yet. I keep puting them on then when I get home take it back off because it's just cool to look at :P
