A quick update I am pretty much thru got to tighten the rear one piece down and bolt down the seats and thats about it. I had to add amber turn signals on the rear of the car. Just got back from picking up my girl friends car bringing it to the shop to fix it and taking it back to her work.

Hot, humid air is less dense than cooler, drier air. This can allow a golf ball to fly through the air with greater ease, as there won't be as much resistance on the ball.

I went for a cruise yesterday drove right at 60 miles, I used 2.59 gallons of gas so I am getting 23 miles per gallon unbelievable with 33 inch tires. My fuel cell is only 8 gallons so I have a gallon on the roof rack. Everything held together no problems. The first map was yesterday cruise. The second map is where I will be going today. Right now I am at the shop cooling the engine off with a fan so I can adjust the valves and check the timing and dwell.

I just got thru adjusting the valves they were all loose as a goose dwell was right on the money I was worried I had left the key on too long when I was wiring the car. Got the GPS installed on the dash. Took it for a short spin. It jumps out of 4 th I didn't remember to hold on to the shifter. :D

At least the steering wheel stays on now. Is 4th bad or can you adjust it to get it into 4th better?

You know I almost forgot to put the nut on the steering wheel. :D   4th is bad I am pretty sure, I was told it didn't have 4th when I bought it but figured running that big a tire it would be useless anyway. Now I wish it had 4th without it jumping out of gear. I need more motor or a turbo. I got the car up to 73 mph today going down hill, it cruises pretty good between 55 and 63 mph. Which is pretty good for a stock motor. I didn't get home till 11 pm, why didn't you guys remind me to take a long sleeve shirt and some gloves I had to stop twice and drink coffee to warm up. The trip went well only problems I found was the accelerator wants to stick wide open, so I guess I have cruise control. :D The steering is a bit twitchy I am going to add caster shims and see if that will help. The body bounces around quite a bit so I am thinking about welding some plates to the cage and body and bolting them together so I can still remove the body. I need to close the back of the car in, it is just too noisy inside the car you car hear the redux boxes howling in 4th and the tires singing and the engine roaring. The carbs need to be rebuilt or replaced. You don't notice any hesitation or sputter unless it is under a load. It aint real bad but I want to get it right. I am going to take a break and decide what I want to do with the car as far as the tranny and engine. I have a set of 3x3 arms and a bus tranny. I am happy with the camber at ride height and the camber change on the redux it is very drivable with the leaf spring in the rear of the car.

Some sound deadening should help, this stuff is pretty inexpensive, we have some for my car and my mom's Mustang. http://www.edesignaudio.com/product_inf ... ucts_id=51

If you have any rake, you need um. They like to sit flat with the beam tilted back. If the rear is up higher than the front, then the beam isn't tilted back any more an it'll wander.

Yeah, that's awesome. Leave it alone.
