Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

At last new manifold fitted with a slightly smaller tube size and the turbo spools so so so much better

Re: My draw through turbo
Hi all, how's it all going with you lot?
Well I've been busy playing with the bug (Blue Thunder)
But an still fouling the spark plugs very quickly. I've had my A/f ratio equipment checked out and its all working as it should. Anyway I've spent alit of time tuning and here's the figures I've ended up with on cruise but I'm still destroying plugs.
These are crusing figures
Idle-13.7:1
1500 rpm - 12.7:1
2000 rpm 13:1
2200 rpm 13.5:1
2500 rpm 12:1
2600 rpm 11.6:1
2800 rpm 11:1
2900 rpm 11:1
3000 rpm 11:1
3100 rpm 10.9:1
3300 rpm 10.5:1
3500 rpm 10:1
3700 rpm up 9.5:1
Gently acceleration 12:1
Hard acceleration lean spike for a brief second to 16.9:1 then drops to 10:1 ish
Now these figures don't look to bad to me, yes a little rich but nit enough to foul the plugs.
Now I'm guessing the rapid increase in richness at 3100 rpm must be when the mains are coming on cause the A/f ratio stabilizer at 2800 rpm for a little while.
So are my figures still to rich?

Re: My draw through turbo
That thing is extremely rich everywhere it shouldn't be. 9.5 is as rich as that sensor will measure on the gas scale. So really you have no idea what is happening above 3700. You are cruising at freeway speeds at much richer than you should be seeing at full boost. The tune is WAY off.

Re: My draw through turbo
I do realise it's rich but here's the issue. I can nit drop the idle jets down a size. I'm running 45f8's now and if I drop down to a 40 the engine will not idle due to it running to lean. I've even tried 45f2 which has a bigger air hole but once again she will not run/idle due to being to lean. The smallest idles I can run which will allow the enfine to idle ar 45f8's but as you can see from my figures she runs to rich when on the cruise.
Now I have found a way to lean her out across the board and have much better A/f ratios by going from a pair of 30mm vents to a pair of 32mm vents but the throttle response is crap and the bug becomes all most impossible to drive in town unless you are at full throttle
