Spent most of the day yesterday rebuilding the wire harness from the regulator back. Most of the wires in the engine compartment were a little dry and crispy. The rear harness in the sedan was cut for the engine part, so I pulled it out from the regulator back and used the soft supple wires that were in the car to replace the crispy ones on the vert. Solder and shrink tubed everything I did and now the wires in the engine area are like new!

OK, getting ready to chop the blue one into pieces, let me know what anyone wants off it before it goes to scrap.

I'm still interested in the lower a-pillers!
I can send UPS call tag to cover the freight if you can box and weigh them.

I would still like those A pillars!!!
6" in front of the seam and from the hood opening down to the rocker. The outer 4"-5" of the dash would be a good place to cut too.
Let me know how much $.
Thanx,
Cameron
Need them for the front of this car.

So since Vivian is going to be put back on the road this week. I spent the last 3 hours panel beating on the driver rear wing straightening it out and aligning the tears for welding in the morning, the LR fender just didn't line up well. It was just to windy this afternoon to weld on her. Hopefully there wont be any wind in the morning and I can get it done and the fender back on.

1 hour and 45 minutes......pulled from the Ghia and stabbed in the vert. Its not hooked up yet, I'll do that in the morning. It's REALLY HOT here and I've done enough sweating for the day.

She lives again!!!!
Finished the install on the engine today and went through the front end basic adjustments, remember EVERYTHING is new or redone up there along with the rear suspension. It has a small rake to it, but there is only 2 gallons of gas in it and for some reason I have no brake lights. It's windy as hell here today so I'm done playing outside for today.

Ran around town for a bit today, went to the market. It drove pretty good and has good power. On the way home I had a strange rattle sound under acceleration only. Stopped by a friends house and BS'd for a bit, when I started her up there was the rattle. It was coming from the drivers side of the engine, sounded like a loose valve adjustment...then it just went away like it was oil starvation. Will have to pull the valve cover and see what I can see. Maybe a failing lifter? Hasn't ever made this noise before.

Got my Topline ball joints in today and will be installing them next week. Shortly after that the engine will be installed and it will be my DD again.
