**Night Run prep**

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

I am aware of that but is it braided metal fuel line/hose or something else. Again, I was warned about using it many years ago by engineers that worked with fuels.

Lee, will let you know what new stuff that they are sending for $11 a foot.

So I friggen need to make some progress so started out going to hook up brakes and see if I am short on anything and this was my first stumble. If you zoom in you’ll see I need to go forward another 2” to get the bolt holes to line up. I was pissed.

 Remember the similar fight I had when running my pedal assy conversions on the fairly stock black buggy pan.

Granted these are hanging pedals and use a bell-crank setup but they are something to think about.

Better than only 1/2 a hole diameter!

I was getting ready to just weld a box in up front but I am running out of time so I notched the firewall and slid the pedals back into the hole, not happy but I can live with it for now. Have clutch and front brakes bled. Need lines for the back.

Good idea. Are you going to build covers for the opening?

Not at this time, hoping the floor and side panels will help keep most stuff out till I can redo it.

Wow, up early and gettin' after it. It's looking good Leather! I wish I could make the trip. I'm going to have to make sure I am there next year. Yes, I think I am feeling a two day illness coming on for 2020 (what can they do? Fire me? I'm retiring in June 2020!).
