37, turning 38 this June. At least I can say I am almost as old as my 1960 Single Cab since I was born in 66.

Glad we cancelled that barbeque, eh Mike? Too bad you couldn't come down to Feuling today. It was awesome.

And she wants kids....:) That I really like.

Anyone know of a good roller I could ship up here?

Yup. She really knows how to real you in. Just wait till the calorie ring goes on and the pocketbook either closes or mysteriously empties, which has nothing to do with the strange, rabbit-like reproduction rate of her shoes, which are beginning to take over the entire closet, forcing you to move your porn into the garage, where it is accidentally tossed out with other "junk" like old VW magazines and used VW parts.

Ahhhh...but i have been there before grasshopper....:)

Last wife: had the calorie ring (this one is a delicious Mediterranian woman, known her for 12 years)
Last wife: emptied the pocket book (this one saves and spends wisely)
Last wife: didn't want kids (this does)
Last wife: Didn't like high heels (this one does, but I see that as a big bonus)
Last wife: Didn't clean up anything, this one does, but doesn't throw out my stuff.

Did I mention that she started a savings account for my 914 turbo project and dumped the first 600 bucks into it for me? Now THATS a wonderful lady.

Oh yeah, and I like all the mushy stuff about her too...:)

shoulda married her first.......

Man....

I feel like a Geezer... I'm old enough to remember a guy who was REALLY proud of his 1973 thing... met him in a camp ground... I looked at the car and asked "did you buy it like that"... I now own one.

Can also remember a distant uncle teaching me at the age of 5 to roll cigarettees in his bay window bus.

I'm 36, married... have the thoughts of a 16 year old and the experiences of a 60 year old... being divorced and travelling the world with a band will do this to you.

Wish I was into VWs when I was younger... would have had a long head-start on the bajas back then..

If you younger guys want to know what it was like when people actually depended on VWs as transportation -- go to Brazil -- the sound of fweeming is everywhere -- the airports still use them for industrial applications.... can buy "fuscos" everywhere.

I'm REALLY Excited that we have so much tenured experience and young enthusiasm.
