how much fun do you have??

A Turbo is definitely in my future.
The only experience I've had was with a VW engine builder here in O'Fallon, MO.
He took me for a ride in his '66 Beetle (featured in Hot VW's a few years ago) with his "lesser" motor: a 1915 with 10 lbs. of boost making 250 hp.
THAT was exhilerating to say the least.
We were on a 2 lane backroad with a wild man behind the wheel. Amazing how fast a curve is staring you in the face.
His "race" motor was a 476 hp 2276 that propelled that little monster to 10.76's at 126 mph on Hoosier Quick Times AND would beat the tar out of the local street racers on Saturday night.
Ricers didn't even stand a chance.
This Bug was a show car, too. NOT a gutted race car.

Your post just brought back a VERY fond memory of mine.....ahhhh....Thanks,
Bill

Ive had lots of fun driving my turbo motor. Nothing like doing a big fat burnout infront of a constuction crew, or getting on the freeway with boost.

Too funny and boy does time fly! The "ricer" today in factory form is much faster than the little economy car it was back in 2002! a lot more bugs on the road back then good times
