Amen, Ray. You are right they are scarce. As you already know, most of them were stood up with between 70 qand 100 k miles on them, for noone could get parts to fix them back then.............
I will have one of thoseclose to perfect cars towards the end of the year. I have worked my butt off collecting parts ( it took me 15 of the old yellow injectors to find just 4 that could be rebuilt) making it work. Now a lot of money at a reputable body shop ( you get what you pay for) that works totally on street rods and antique resto. I intend to have a daily driver/ show stopper..............it is one of a kind for sure, and i am taking it back as close to stock as i can.
When I get it back from the body shop i will have to tackle the front end.......I have done nothing to that.
